Radiohead have clarified their involvement in the film version of Chuck Palahnuik’s novel, Choke.

Whilst Palahnuik had claimed that Radiohead are providing the entire score, the Oxford band insist that they have simply contributed the song Reckoner from last album In Rainbows to run over the closing credits.

Palahnuik told the BBC earlier this week that he had heard new material that the Oxfordshire band had written specifically for the film.

Choke, the novel, has inspired the songwriting of a number of bands including Biffy Clyro and Panic At The Disco.

Ayrshire rockers Biffy’s first album, Blackened Sky, opens with the song Joy.Discovery.Invention, a phrase in the book, while Panic At The Disco’s song Nails For Breakfast, Tacks For Snacks is based on the novel.
