Slash guitar range

Slash has designed a range of his own guitars which will go on-sale later this year, it has been confirmed.

The former Guns N' Roses and current Velvet Revolver rock icon is behind three instruments set for release in April.

He has collaborated with world renowned guitar manufacturers Gibson on the limited edition range, which are expected to become collector's items.

"I have always been a Les Paul player and am very proud to have my own range produced by Gibson and Epiphone, the maker of the world's greatest guitars.

"I hope that musicians around the world enjoy them as much as I do", explained Slash in a statement.

The guitars go on-sale on April 1.
