Il cantautore britannico è stato nominato Artista Maschile dell’anno, trionfando anche nella categoria di Canzone dell’anno grazie alla hit Shape of You.
Tornata sulla scena musicale con il suo nuovo album Reputation, la reginetta del pop ha invece ritirato il premio di Migliore Artista Femminile dell’anno.
La statuetta di iHeartRadio Innovator Award è andata invece a Chance the Rapper, premiato per 'gli straordinari traguardi raggiunti nell’industria musicale e il suo insuperabile contribuito alle cause sociali'.
Nel corso della cerimonia del The Forum di Inglewood (California) si sono esibite varie star internazionali, tra cui Cardi B, che ha presentato il singolo Bartier Cardi, per poi intrattenere il pubblico con la hit Bodak Yellow.
La rapper ha trionfato nelle categorie di Migliore Nuova Artista Hip-Hop e Migliore Nuova Artista.
Con un look che ricordava Marilyn Monroe in Gli uomini preferiscono le bionde, l’ex delle Fifth Harmony Camila Cabello si è infine esibita nel tormentone Havana.
A condurre la cerimonia sono stati DJ Khaled e la modella Hailey Baldwin.
