Brandon Flowers has let it be known that all the songs on his forthcoming solo album 'Flamingo' were originally written for The Killers.

"I didn't write anything for myself," he told Elle magazine. "I've only ever known The Killers, so it was strange once it became apparent I was doing this alone."

He also told the style mag that in order to go undercover he has recently been booking into hotels as Tijuana Heston.

"My buddy's grandpa's name was Tijuana, which I though was great. I can't really explain the Heston. The Killers have had a couple of strange scares with fans in hotels. Although it's not so bad this time. Right now, nobody knows what's going on. I'm a little bit more... incognito."

Brandon's solo album 'Flamingo' is released on September 8.
