Rolling Stone asked their readers to name their favorite Bruce Springsteen albums and, as far as they are concerned, it's the old Springsteen over the new.

Topping the list are The Boss's three late-70's/early-80's gems Born to Run, Darkness on the Edge of Town and The River. As a matter of fact, the top seven are from his first eight releases with only 1973's Greetings From Asbury Park missing the cut. The 90's are then completely skipped with the top ten being completed by three of his six albums released since the turn of the century.

The top ten:

Born to Run (1975)
Darkness on the Edge of Town (1978)
The River (1980)
The Wild, The Innocent & the E-Street Shuffle (1973)
Nebraska (1982)
Born in the U.S.A. (1984)
Tunnel of Love (1987)
The Rising (2002)
Wrecking Ball (2012)
Magic (2007)
