Kanye West is reportedly desperate to move into "his own digs" after spending a significant amount of time in his mother-in-law Kris Jenner's house.
The rapper and his wife Kim Kardashian have been staying at Kim's mum's home while the mansion they've bought together is being renovated. But according to sources the musician is growing tired with the arrangement, as it's causing a rift in their relationship.
"Kim and Kanye fight quite a lot about it and things are tense," an insider divulged to Britain's new! magazine. "The strain on their marriage is palpable, as living with his mother-in-law was never what Kanye had in mind when he married Kim. Yes, the house is big, but he still feels put upon and not in his own digs, whereas it doesn't bother Kim much."
The couple have been living with Kris since August (15) while some changes were made to their family home. It's also believed they are selling a second home they had in Bel Air. And it looks like things could take a while, as Kim is reportedly very indecisive.
"He wants the renovations to be over but she keeps changing her mind about everything and they are redoing the nursery for the third time," the source continued. "It is making him bonkers."
Kim and Kanye already have daughter North, two, together and are expecting a second child. Recently she wrote a blog entry about how she was hoping for a lavish $1 million diamond necklace from Kanye when she gives birth, so it looks like she needs to get back in his good books.
“Do you guys believe in a push present?” she asked “I never did, but all of my friends do!!! We have the funniest e-mail chains discussing it. One friend got a special diamond ring she always wanted, and another friend got a new car! I like the idea of a push present — after nine months of pregnancy it’s a sweet and well-deserved thank you. We women go through an entire pregnancy carrying a baby ... of course it only makes sense that we get something amazing to show how amazing we are! LOL!”
