Rihanna joins Bates Motel cast

Rihanna will play Marion Crane in Bates Motel.



Janet Leigh played the original Marion Crane character in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, the guest who was murdered in the infamous show scene.

“We wanted to thrust the iconic role into a contemporary spotlight and redefine it in a meaningful and exciting new way,” said executive producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin in a statement. “We also heard Rihanna was a fan of the show, and we were huge fans of hers, so it was the perfect collision of creativity and fate.”

Rihanna also has a part in the 2017 movie ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets’. She also played Petty Officer Cora ‘Weps’ Raikes in the 2012 movie ‘Battleship.



Rihanna also performs the main song from the new Star Trek movie ‘Sledgehammer’.
