The BPI today announces details of its next series of training workshops, which will run over the summer and will cover digital marketing and YouTube.

Commencing 1st May, the workshops, which are free of charge to BPI members and will be offered in association with Music Ally, are part of the BPI’s ongoing schedule of free member events and other training activity.

They will each be made up of 25 spaces – available on a first-come-first-serve basis, and will be hosted at the BPI’s County Hall offices.

Digital Marketing Workshop

This workshop will cover all major areas of Digital Marketing and Online Presence. It will cover: optimisation of all major online platforms, using paid advertising on Adwords, Facebook and Twitter, Email Marketing and how this is still relevant and actually growing, the ins and outs of the giant that is YouTube, and finally case studies covering both new tools/platforms and inventive ways of using well established platforms.

YouTube Training Workshop

YouTube is growing in importance for both discovery and exposure but also as an increasing income stream. This session will cover all aspects: from setting up your profile properly, to using all the advanced channel settings, video editing tools and more. It will also cover becoming a YouTube partner and how to best monetise your videos and the impact of Multi-Channel Networks (MCNs) in this space. Finally it will also cover YouTube from an advertiser point of view and how to best set up adverts on the platform.
