Bobby Brown has been released from a California jail after being arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence.
The 43-year-old singer’s $5,000 bail was paid on Monday afternoon hours after he was pulled over by California Highway Patrol.
The booking sheet states that the My Prerogative star had been driving in Reseda around 12.20pm PST when police stopped him and he was booked into a Van Nuys jail after failing four sobriety tests.
It is reported that the star’s blood alcohol level was .08 or higher at the time of his arrest.
“We observed intoxication once Mr. Brown was pulled over,” Officer Tiana Reed told RadarOnline.
“We put him through four sobriety tests, none of which he passed.”
Bobby, who is the ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston, was arrested in Georgia in 1996 and pleaded guilty to DUI. He served eight days in jail.
The New Edition band member is said to have a complicated relationship with daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, a product of his marriage to Whitney Houston who died on February 11 this year.
He is currently engaged to Alicia Ehteridge and the couple have a little boy together.
