Lady Gaga has penned a love letter to her Australian fans.

The Born This Way singer wrapped the Australian leg of her ArtRave: The Artpop Ball tour on Sunday.

And she took to Facebook the following day to thank the thousands of so-called “monsters” who flocked to arenas across the continent and made each show so special.

“Every 'Gypsy' performance at Australian Artrave's monsters held hands at the back of the arena by the piano and danced in a circle,” she recalled. “Thank you for making these shows so memorable, for strengthening our monster community, and being bad kids like you always are. I love you.”

ArtRave: The Artpop Ball marks Gaga’s fourth headlining concert tour.

And the pop star can’t believe how fortunate she is to do this for a living.

“I get to travel the world year after year to tour, and the defining factor is that each country is connected by the music and the message To be yourself, and celebrate that passion,” she explained, signing off: “Monster 4 Life (sic).”

Within minutes the post had received thousands of likes, with some fans pleading with the star to bring the tour to their country.

“Come to Mexico, Please Gaga don't be cruel, Latin America needs you!,” one fan wrote.

“COME ARTRAVE TO BRAZIL,” another added.

Gaga is next scheduled to play in Dubai September 10, followed by shows in Western Asia and Europe, wrapping the trek in Paris, France November 24.
