David Guetta is planning on making “crazy experimental beats” moving forward.

The 47-year-old French DJ has worked with the likes of Kelly Rowland, Akon, Nicki Minaj, Fergie and Rihanna in the past.

But David is looking to stray away from producing pop sounds in the near future.

"I’m just going to make crazy experimental beats, I don’t even want to think about making pop records, I just want to have fun working on purely DJ records,” he told MTV News UK.

David is unconcerned with making music with the sole of aim of topping charts.

He’s just elated his work is so well received by the public.

“It’s just as long as I’m happy doing this, people are giving me a lot of love and a lot of energy and of course it makes me happy, I’ll be here until people keep on giving me this,” David gushed.

“If one day people are tired of this then I’ll stop but right now everything is wonderful so I have no reason to think about this.”

David released his sixth studio album, Listen, last November.

A fresh track from the record is due to reach the public on March 17.

“[The single’s] gonna be Hey Mama with Nicki Minaj and Afrojack and then I don’t know…there are too many to choose from that I love,” he said of future singles from the offering.

“[Nicki’s] amazing and we’ve worked together in the past already, she’s great I love working with her.”

David’s LP Listen has been incredibly successful, having peaked at the number one spot on both the UK Dance Album and Billboard’s US Dance/Electronic Album charts.
