Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly "great at playing the cool girl".
The 24-year-old actress is rumoured to be dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and while neither have yet confirmed their romance, the pair were snapped boarding a private jet together and at a music festival last month.
Things seem to be hotting up for the couple, but Jennifer is reportedly keeping her excitement at bay as their rumoured relationship moves forward.
"Jen is great at playing the cool girl and letting the guy chase her. She manages not to come off as clingy or needy," a source told British magazine Look. "I hear it was Chris who initiated the conversation about them being exclusive, and her moving in - at least part time - to his Malibu home. Jen will have taken it in her stride, while jumping up and down on the inside."
Both parties were newly single before getting together, with Chris splitting from his wife Gwyneth Paltrow in March and Jennifer ending things with on/off boyfriend Nicholas Hoult earlier this year. It's thought the Silver Linings Playbook actress was keen to settle down with her former beau and she's still in that mindset, but has changed her focus to Chris.
"Family. More peace. A baby," the insider added of things that are at the top of her wish list. "Last year, she told everyone that her plan with Nick was to be married with a child within two years. Now it looks like she could still stick to her timeline, but with Chris instead."
Even Gwyneth, who Chris has children Apple and Moses with, approves of the new romance. The trio reportedly lunched together in September and the 42-year-old star is said to have congratulated her estranged husband on finding such a "smart, beautiful woman".
