Jason Black, co-founder and director of Crep Protect, also known as rapper J2K, has known and worked with Jammer for many years.

Black comments, “Jammer is a founding member of the UK grime scene and as such was an ideal person to speak to about the evolution of the culture and how and why it needs to be protected as part of that process of growth.”

Jammer adds “The UK scene has grown beyond just the music - it’s language, fashion, lifestyle - everything. Brands like Crep Protect and Lord Of The Mic are integral to protecting and elevating the culture and we need to work together to keep these ‘inhouse’.”

Crep Protect is a hydrophobic solution which uses revolutionary nanotechnology technology to create an invisible, protective barrier that prevents rain and stains from damaging footwear. Treated surfaces will repel most liquids and this durable treatment can last for approximately two weeks. The company was set up by Jason Black and his business partner Imran Ahmed in 2012. The pair travelled to Germany to work on developing the product. Additional products in the line include a cleaner kit: The Cure and they will be launching Crep Wipes later this year.
