Jessica Biel finds it “magical” looking at her son’s gummy mouthed smile.
The 33-year-old actress has stayed out of the limelight since she and her popstar husband Justin Timberlake welcomed little boy Silas in April.
But last night she made her first red carpet appearance, looking fabulous in blue culottes and a patterned blouse as she gushed about her bundle of joy for the first time.
"Probably the moment he wakes up from a nap," she told E! News when asked what the best thing about motherhood is. "He's sort of looking around and you sort of creep up and look over the crib and he looks up and he goes [lets out a big sighing sound]. Just a gummy mouth, no teeth, just a big smile, happy that you're alive and you're just looking at him. That's probably the most magical."
Jessica, who was celebrating the launch of her latest accessories collection with BARE yesterday, added that she gets often emotional while gazing at her tot. However the soppiness is quickly banished when the brunette beauty has to change Silas’ dirty diaper.
She was joined by the other Justin in her life, her younger brother, at the fashionable event as well as designer Grason Ratowsky. Despite being a new mum, Jessica didn’t manage to sneak a diaper bag into her BARE collection.
"Grason said no," Justin chuckled.
"What's wrong with this company?" Jessica added.
Although she’s enjoying every minute of having a child, the star does manage to take some time to let her hair down once in a while. The night before last she attended one of Taylor Swift’s 1989 shows in LA, where her hubby Justin joined the blonde singer on stage. Jessica even went back stage to meet the musician.
"It was super fun," she gushed. "We are fans of music from all walks of the spectrum, from country to rock to R&B, to hip hop, whatever. I'll pretty much see anyone live."
