Madonna won’t watch her Brit Awards fall.

The 56-year-old performer hit headlines worldwide when she took a tumble down a flight of stairs as her cape didn’t open.

But the veteran singer had admitted she is probably one of the only people in the world who has yet to watch the embarrassing incident.

"I haven't watched it back, I don't like watching me on anything,” Madonna told BBC Radio 2 DJ Jo Whiley.

“I hate watching myself because the experience of the actual thing that I did is never what I see. I'd rather have the fantasy of it in my mind, what I thought it was."

The fall occurred when a dancer pulled Madonna’s cape, which was meant to undo at the bow on the front. However, when it failed to undo, Madonna was pulled backwards down the steps.

Madonna released her first single Everybody at the age of 24. Since then, she has become one of the most famous singers in the industry, with countless hits under her belt.

And the Living for Love singer also told Jo that she would definitely consider releasing an autobiography at some point in the future.

"I'm sure I will one day,” she said. “I've got so many tales to tell. If I wrote my book, that would be from start to finish. And that's a whole lot of ground to cover.

“I think I would tell the stories that I felt were valuable to tell, that were inspiring, that people could relate to. I'm a storyteller, that's what I think of myself as, I would share stories that I think would inspire people."
