The biggest band in the world, One Direction, is the first act confirmed for Capital’s Summertime Ball with Vodafone on Saturday June 6th 2015, at the iconic Wembley Stadium.
The huge news was announced this morning on the Capital Breakfast Show as Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon kick-started the big reveal week for Capital’s Summertime Ball with Vodafone.
It’s the first time the 1D boys will take to the stage for Capital’s Summertime Ball, and it will also be their first ever London date as a four-piece. Speaking exclusively to Capital’s Dave and Lisa this morning about the gig, Liam Payne said: “Wembley is obviously one of the best places to play in the world so I’m well excited!”
This Wednesday, April 29th, from 7am the line-up gets even bigger as Capital Breakfast releases more news about the world class show featuring Grammy award-winning stars whose 130 million dedicated fans have created countless Twitter trends around the world, and streamed their music videos more than 20 billion times.
Tickets to Capital’s Summertime Ball with Vodafone go on sale on Friday May 1st at 8am at www.capitalfm.com. Capital VIPs and Vodafone customers will have access to the first tickets in the VIP pre-sale, which starts on Wednesday April 29th at 8am.
