Paris Hilton reportedly organises Reiki sessions for her dogs.

The 33-year-old hotel heiress is a known animal lover, telling VH1 she owned 35 animals in 2013. Last year she added to her menagerie with a Pomeranian dog called Prince Hilton, which set her back $13,000 because he was one of the smallest pooches in the world. Princess Paris Jr. joined the family in January and is also a Pomeranian.

Earlier this month the star took her hounds to the World Dog Awards, and she wanted to ensure they were looking their best for the event.

According to British magazine Heat, that included a grooming session lasting five hours. Included in that was an hour of Reiki - where a person uses their hands to transfer energy to someone else.

The pooches were also massaged and given conditioning baths. To ensure their faces looked pristine they were apparently given blueberry facials, while their nails were trimmed.

As if that wasn't enough, it's claimed the pampered pets also had their fur blow dried and their eyelashes tinted. Previously, Prince had already spent time working out with a dog trainer and been to yoga classes.

After all that they needed to arrive at the event in style, so they were apparently chauffeured in a Rolls Royce.

This isn't the first time news of Paris' extravagant care of her animals has been reported. She has shown off her doggy mansion in the past, which comes complete with air conditioning, furniture and chandelier.

The mini doggie mansion is beside Paris' pool and is a replica of her own Beverley Hills home.

The dogs have their own pink wardrobes, black chandeliers and a Chewy Vuitton dog bed.

"I love and treat my puppies as if they were my own children," she wrote on Twitter in 2009.

"I have to admit, I may have spoiled them a little too much. But how can I not? Just look at those sweet lil' faces (sic)."
