Robert Pattinson is reportedly engaged to FKA Twigs.
Rumours of the former Twilight star wanting to marry the British singer have surrounded the couple for months. And now rapper T-Pain has seemingly confirmed the news that they are to walk down the aisle.
“Well, the first time we even met each other, we met in the studio,” he said during an interview with Vulture about the 27-year-old. “Her music’s changed a lot since then. But she’s on tour so much, and anytime I call her, she’s in a different place. And she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing.”
However, while some fans were thrilled by the news, others suspected it could be an April Fools’ Day prank.
FKA first broke on to the music scene in December 2012 after appearing as a backing dancer in videos for the likes of Jessie J and Kylie Minogue. Her relationship with the 28-year-old has garnered her more attention in recent months and when T-Pain was pressed further about his revelation regarding the pair, he seemed to realise he may have said too much.
“Yeah, to ol’ Patty. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that…” he added.
While the couple are yet to confirm the news themselves, Robert has reportedly been seen shopping for engagement rings in recent months.
“He wants to marry her, [he is] much more calm and happy than before. They are inseparable when they are together. They live at his house,” an insider told People magazine. Another source added to OK! Magazine, “He wants to settle down in the UK and focus on smaller indie movies. He’s happy to take a backseat to her career too and wants to be a stay-at-home dad when they get around to starting a family.”
