Rita Ora's rumoured boyfriend reportedly punched a man outside an A-list party Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old British singer was accompanied by Ricky Hil at a London bash celebrating photographer Mario Testino’s 60th birthday, according to UK newspaper The Mirror.

Apparently the night ended in revelry of the wrong kind, with Ricky, the son of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, getting violent with another partygoer.

“Rita and Ricky were both invited and welcomed by Mario to his birthday bash. But someone inside Chiltern [Firehouse, venue] started squaring up to Ricky and giving him a hard time. The guy was hurling abuse at him so Ricky punched him,” a source said.

According to the insider, Rita wasn’t present when the alleged incident occurred and had “nothing to do with it”.

Ricky reportedly tried to diffuse the situation, although it seemed to have made its mark on the night.

“Ricky then briefly left the venue so it didn’t turn into a full-blown fight and returned when the man left,” the source continued, adding, “It was all a bit embarrassing.”

Rita’s spokesperson had not immediately addressed reports of the fight at press time.

Rita and Ricky were first romantically linked back in July following her split from Calvin Harris.

The singer had been dating the DJ since May 2013, and in a recent interview insists reports of bad blood between the pair were fabricated.

“It was the right guy at the wrong time. I was about to start a tour, and he was also all over the place," she explained to the US edition of Cosmopolitan.

"There’s only so much you can do when you don’t see each other. I really admire people who have long-distance relationships. It’s an incredible achievement. I couldn’t do it.”
