Rod Stewart has stripped off for his fans.
The veteran rocker, 69, performed at the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony in Glasgow Wednesday night.
And as UK newspaper The Mirror reports it appears he was exhilarated after the show, as he took to Twitter to post a photo of himself without any pants shortly after.
“I never thought I'd be able to stand in the Celtic Board Room in front of the trophy case. . . with no pants,” he wrote.
The image showed Rod with his arms outstretched as if to welcome a hug, wearing little more than a blousy white button down shirt opened to his midsection.
“Hot Legs,” one follower wrote, referencing his 1970s hit.
“@rodstewart this is why you are better than Phil Collins,” another mused.
Not everyone was impressed, however.
“And so you shouldn't young man!” one user replied.
The Mirror reports Rod was joined by Susan Boyle, John Barrowman, Billy Connelly and Amy Macdonald for the show.
Despite decades in the music business, the hitmaker admitted he was anxious before taking the stage, however.
"I'm very nervous and very proud to be performing at the Commonwealth Games #2014Ceremony tonight in Glasgow,” he tweeted.
Rod reportedly got fans on their feet with a rendition of Rhythm of My Heart.
The rocker recently attributed his youthful attitude to his six kids, including two under the age of nine with wife Penny Lancaster.
“If there’s a fountain of youth, it’s children,” he told People magazine last year, admitting raising a brood while in his position can be a huge challenge.
“I battle constantly with whether I’m not spoiling my children,” he confessed.
“I try to instil my values in them, and they’ll say, ‘Dad, we didn’t grow up like you. Where’s the comparison?’ But they’re great. They keep me alive!”
