Sam Smith marked a hugely successful 2014 on a night out with drag queens.
The British singer took home the best pop/rock male artist at the American Music Awards earlier this week.
And after his victory, Sam decided to head out on the town with friends including Glee actress Dianna Agron and All About That Bass singer Meghan Trainor.
According to reports, Sam and his pals headed to renowned Hollywood club The Abbey, where he partied the night away.
“He was telling everyone he hadn’t had a night out for at least four months,” a source told Mirror Online. “He wanted to go wild.
“So he requested four strippers who performed with him at the club. They were dressed in very skimpy attire. Sam was having the time of his life.”
“He partied with a pair of drag queens too, who went down a treat. Sam was stuffing dollar bills into their pants.”
The source also revealed that the trio started their wild night out at around 10pm on Monday, and didn’t finish until 6am on Tuesday.
Following their time at The Abbey, the group are reported to have headed off to a house party to continue the festivities.
“The group were downing tequila shots and having a whale of a time,” the source added. “Meghan and Dianna are his new BFFs. They have made him feel really welcome in the States.”
Meanwhile, it seems that while Sam’s focus has been on his career for the past few months, now he is keen to find someone to share his success with.
The insider revealed that Sam, who came out as gay earlier this year, was open about the fact he is looking for love.
“Sam was telling pals that he would like to meet someone and had his eye on a few people in the club,” the source added.
