Sam Tiba's cubist grooves have had people gyrating for a while but even before his Club Cheval crew days when Sam was a DJ he bonded with French classic rap, roots and dancehall reggae, and then dub..

Take a walk with the mild mannered French music man as to why Chuck Taylor, the American basketball player responsible for the most successful selling basketball shoe in history, changed him.

The Converse All-Star shoe was introduced in 1917 as the first specifically designed footwear to be worn when playing basketball.

By 1932 Chuck Taylor's name was added to the patch, and the shoe became the Chuck Taylor All-Stars.

Taylor received a salary from Converse, but received no commission for any of the 600 million pairs of Chuck Taylor shoes that have been sold.
