Calvin Harris was reportedly “holding” Taylor Swift during a concert on Thursday night.
Rumours that the Blank Space hit maker and the Scottish DJ are dating began earlier this month, when Taylor was seen attending one of his gigs in Las Vegas, Nevada. While neither star has denied the claims, they did little to dispel the speculation when they attended country singer Kenny Chesney’s show in Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday night.
Pictures of the two together were quickly posted on social media by eagle-eyed audience members, with one showing them looking particularly cosy.
“@CalvinHarris holding @taylorswift13 #calvinharris #taylorswift” Twitter user @sbbieberfever wrote alongside an image of the 31-year-old seemingly with his arm around Taylor’s bare midriff.
The 25-year-old singer had previously taken to the stage to duet with Kenny on his hit song Big Star. Calvin cheered his alleged new lady on, and once the show was over, another fan videoed the stars leaving the venue hand in hand.
The rumoured couple are thought to have connected at the Brit Awards last month. Soon after, Calvin reportedly chartered a private plane for Taylor and her gal pals to attend his gig at Hakkasan nightclub in Sin City.
This is despite the Summer star previously saying that the American wasn’t really the kind of girl he’d go for.
“She's just the opposite of my type. She looks lovely, she's just the opposite of my type so I would just go left,” he told British radio show Capital Breakfast during a game in the vein of dating app Tinder back in November.
If the producer has had a change of heart, it will be his second high-profile relationship, having previously dated fellow musician Rita Ora. Taylor meanwhile, is a veteran of celebrity dating, having been linked to One Direction’s Harry Styles, singer John Mayer and actors Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Lautner.
