Justin Bieber and Usher both want to work with Cheryl Cole, says will.i.am.
Will.i.am is both Cheryl’s friend and US manager.
The Black Eyed Peas star is excited for what the future has in store for the British singer and claims the biggest names in the business, including teen dream Justin, are all eager to work with her.
“It could happen; they both know each other and get on whenever they meet,” he told the British edition of New! magazine. “Justin is a big fan of Cheryl, Usher tells me, so if we can find the right collaboration for them then it’s a real possibility.”
Cheryl is in good hands with will.i.am who has produced music for artists including Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Justin Timberlake. He has contacts in all the right places and suggested that she and good friend Usher may be making records together in the future.
“Usher knows her and he likes her,” he revealed. “Whoever meets Cheryl likes her and that’s why you have the biggest names in the movie and music industry wanting to work with her.
Cheryl had been a judge on the UK version of the X Factor for three years, when Simon Cowell arranged for her to help launch the US version of the show. Unfortunately Cheryl was replaced by Nicole Scherzinger after only a few weeks on the panel. Will.i.am insists that Cheryl is over the incident now.
“I always expected her to go down as well in the US,” he explained. “It’s great that she got positive reviews, but that chapter is over now and she has many exciting things coming up. Nothing will ever keep that girl down for long, and I do mean nothing. She is an inspirational person.”
