Kanye West “doesn’t want to spend Christmas” at Kris Jenner’s house, according to reports.
The Bound 2 singer has been residing at his mother-in-law’s home for months while his new property is being renovated. But it seems the 37-year-old is keen for a change of scene when it comes to the festive period, much to his wife Kim’s dismay.
“Even though Christmas is a time for family, Kanye doesn’t want to spend the holiday with Kim’s family at Kris’ house,” an insider told Radar Online. “Kris always has a huge party on Christmas Eve, and Kanye just isn’t feeling it this year. He wants to go to Paris with Kim and North. This would allow him to spend time with them, and also work.”
The couple, who married in Florence, Italy back in May, have already spent Thanksgiving apart, sparking rumours that all is not well in their marriage. But it looks like it’s going to be hard for the pair to reach a compromise, as 34-year-old Kim is reportedly completely opposed to her husband’s Parisian plans.
“Kim absolutely refuses to even consider spending Christmas in Paris,” the source continued. “She has said there will be no way North would be away from the cousins.”
The mom-of-one’s older sister Kourtney recently gave birth to her third child, a son, and already has son Mason, five and daughter Penelope, two. Kim regularly posts photos on her social networking site of daughter North playing with her relatives, and she no doubt wants them to share the magic of Christmas together too.
The source believes that if relations don’t pick up between Kim and Kanye soon, they might not share any more festivities together.
“This could be the last holiday for Kim and Kanye,” they said. “They are living completely separate lives.”
