Yoshiki Classical, the new record from the world-renowned classically trained multi-instrumentalist/composer/musician Yoshiki, debuts at #1 on the iTunes Classical Music chart in 10 countries around the world - Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Macao, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Finland, and Japan.
It also made the Top 10 in the USA (#2), Norway (#2), Australia (#6), and France (#4).
Released September 24th Yoshiki Classical sees one of Asia's most influential musical artists collaborating with legendary Beatles producer Sir George Martin, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra and the Quartet San Francisco.
Billboard Magazine raves Yoshiki Classical is "a collection of beautiful pieces of music with sweet melodies, soaring voices, and vibrant strings." Billboard caught up with Yoshiki to talk about the new album and his career.
