Janet Jackson is just over a month into her Number Ones: Up Close and Personal Tour, opening in Asia before bringing the music to North America. Last Friday night was the first of three dates at New York's Radio City Music Hall and, as she promised, it was all hits.

The show had a preamble of two videos, dedicated specifically to New York, for the songs The Best Things in Life Are Free and Rhythm Nation before Janet took the stage with The Pleasure Principle. An hour and 45 minutes later, she had gone through numerous costume changes, worked out her dance troupe and performed a major portion of her catalog (some in abbreviated versions).

Also included were two video breaks highlighting Janet's style over her career and her acting roles, along with a tribute to her brother Michael with the playing of their duet Scream.
