Guns N’ Roses announce first 2012 shows

There will be some Guns N’ Roses activity this year but so far only in Europe.

Two dates have been announced for May, one for Ireland and one for Italy.

Guns N’ Roses are locked in to play Dublin’s O2 Arena on May 17 and the Gods of Metal festival in Italy on May 22.

Guns N’ Roses will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April but at this stage there has been no confirmation of a performance or if the original members will actually all stand on stage together to collect the award.

Axl Rose has been in the studio working on a new Guns N’ Roses album. However, considering the last one ‘Chinese Democracy’ took 12 years to release, don’t hold your breath waiting for a follow-up.
