George Harrison: Early Takes Volume 1 preview

When Martin Scorsese's documentary on George Harrison, Living in the Material World, was released on DVD in the U.K., the set came with a CD of rare Harrison music including demos and alternate takes.

That CD will be released as a separate product in the U.S. on May 1 under the title Early Takes, Volume 1.

There has been some criticism around the net at the short length for the album at just over thirty minutes and the fact that there must be more material if the set is called Volume 1, but these are recordings that have never seen official release so it will be a must-have for the Harrison fan and the musically curious.
