When Bill Ward said he was done with Black Sabbath's reunion, he wasn't kidding.

In a move reminiscent of Michael Anthony's complete removal from the Van Halen website, there is now no sign of Ward on the Sabbath site. The difference is, this was all Ward's doing.

Representatives for the drummer contacted the group and requested that his pictures be removed from the site. Per the official statement:

At the request of Bill Ward, through his attorney, so as to not give the public the wrong impression about his involvement in the current Black Sabbath lineup, we have temporarily removed Bill Ward’s images from the main pages of the official website. In accordance with Bill Ward’s attorney’s request, we are doing so for the duration of the forthcoming shows.

Fans were quick to react, blaming Sabbath for the move but it is now clear that their comments were misplaced. Even though the pictures are gone, there remains a statement from Ozzy on the site saying "In my opinion, there's only ever been one Black Sabbath, and that's Iommi, Osbourne, Butler and Ward."
