Dean Bourne

The Men In Black Tour, staring distinguished artists’, Dean Bourne and Bosco Bosanac, paid homage to legendary rock n roll icons Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison. The sold-out show magically transported audience members to the carefree days of the 50’s and 60’s.

Dean Bourne paid tribute to the iconic Roy Orbison and there is no denying that Bourne has an uncanny resemblance to the legendary musician. Incredibly Bourne started performing when he was just 10-years-old and by the time he was 15, he was playing at local pubs and clubs. Years later, Bourne captured the attention of “Idolz In Concert” producers who immediately signed the rising star to appear as Roy Orbison in their show.

Today, Bourne’s delivery as Roy is impeccable and has been described as “ The New Roy Orbison”. Bourne graced the audience with Only The Lonely, Working For The Man, Running Scared, You Got It and Pretty Woman. However, Bourne’s performance of Crying, was my personal favourite as his powerful voice radiated through me with every note.

During Bourne’s recent national tours, he has received standing ovations across Australia and hypnotized audiences with his remarkable voice and ability to capture the essence of Roy Orbison.

Both Bosco and Bourne happily interacted with the audience and asked them to join in, making it a memorable evening. This Train Is Bound For Glory and I’m Gone were performed by the duo in the encore. Overall, it was a flawless performance by all, and ended with a well-deserved standing ovation. A must-see for Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash fans.
