Eurovision is a very important event for the Maltese people, yet other countries take it with a pinch of salt? What are your views?

Speaking for myself as a singer, Eurovision is a big music platform which may unlock new doors and provide international opportunities. All artists including composers and authors taking part in it will have the occasion to demonstrate their talent to a numerous multitude.

Besides yourself, who is your favourite act to win Malta Eurovision 2015?

During the final production week we will have a comrprehensible scheme of all the songs, including the live stage-act. In addition to this, I believe that all singers in the competition are very talented.

Describe your feeling on ‘Xarabank’ TV show when you realized you had been chosen as one of the Finalists?:

Every year I’m always very excited despite being my 4th consecutive year taking part. I started crying with joy 

Rumours had it that Ira Losco would submit a song this year!! Do you think established artists like Ira, Joseph Calleja, Ivan Grech (Winter Moods) and others should consider taking part in Malta Eurovision and why/why not?:

Personally, I don’t think they should because locally they are already established singers and it’s a big risk for their singing career. And winning Eurovision does not mean how much famous you are but it all depends on a very good song and delivering an original stage-act.

Can you tell us of any curious/funny incidents you may have had whilst performing?

Once I was performing during this particular event and ended up with broken heels. Well ‘Show must go on’ and had to keep on going with my performance.

Why should the Maltese public vote for your song to represent Malta in 2015?:

I believe that my song evokes a simple message that everyone can relate to. Unfortunately, we all go through stuff that makes us upset whether its a heartbreak or any other form of pain, but we all move on because we live in hope that it will be ok. In life, we experience many things and they normally sort themselves out after a while. So it’s fine, you can cry, you can feel sad but not for too long as we only live once and we must try and enjoy every moment of it. So to sum up, the song is about accepting that things will not always go your way and it’s ok, you can handle it anyway
