Italian song writer Giulia recently released her debut UK single Radio Junkie, which was written and produced in collaboration with Tom Nichols, whose previous clients include the likes of All Saints and Sugababes.

So with this kind of help - is she someone to watch out for? Yes, is the answer.

Born in Rome, Giulia moved around a lot as a child - living in Argentina for a time, before ending up in London. The only daughter to Marco Dona dalle Rose, who was a professional polo player, and Fluvial Persona - a successful fashion entrepreneur, she has a background of creativity and success.

Influenced by classical music, Country, Soul, Blues & Jazz - Giulia spent her youth listening to the likes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald.

Now she has a very country rock sound - which this week landed the singer on a support slot with Anastacia.

Before this big gig for Giulia, Music News caught up with her in London to find out more about her career.

In a fascinating chat with our reporter Colin Besley, the singer reveals a strong will and determination that is set to see her succeed and fulfil her dreams.
