Somedays you put on a disc and just fall in love with a voice and a guitar playing beautifully and making the kind of music that reminds you of warm evenings and tequila.
Just four tracks starting with ‘Your Heart Belongs To Me’. Jarrod Dickenson has a warm and gentle voice that just has all the depth and humour you could wish for. His guitar is easy on the ear and he sings of love and desire without touching on the bodily functions that seem to be the norm today.
‘Take A Breath’ just captures that moment after business is finished and there is time to take a breath before moving on to the next – “Enjoy this moment here and now, just leave the rest until the morning comes around” – just simple thoughts beautifully presented.
He is playing a full tour starting tomorrow in London
