How important is music to you/why: Music gives meaning to my life. It helps me to express certain feelings an emotions and it gives me a positive vibe and energy.
Can you share with us something curious/funny which happened to you when performing? I was invited to a local village ‘festa’ to perform during a ‘lejla maltija’ and as soon as I was going on stage I fell face first on the stage in front of everybody and the presenter had to help me to get up…LOL
From the current Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza Festival 2015 finalists, who would you choose to duet with/why: I would perform with Dario Bezzina because he is a good friend of mine with a great voice and character and because he is also a high tenor like me, with Animae Gospel Choir. I’m sure we would make one awesome, massive duet grin emoticon
A typical weekday for you from morning to night: It’s always busy in winter with teaching at school and preparing lessons or rehearsals with Animae and my band in the evening. During my free time I either go to the gym or hang out with my friends and family. During summer I’m much more relaxed but rehearsals are never out of the question as I always try to involve myself in a number of musical activities.
How do you like to spend your weekends: I usual go out with friends at the beach, or a picnic or staying at home relaxed with my family eating pizza and watching a good movie.
Do you think Malta should send a Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza Festival winner to represent Malta at Eurovision one year and why/why not: Yes they should, it will give the festival an even bigger promotion and the winning singer will have an opportunity to look forward to…At least if not Eurovision they could always send the winning singer to participate abroad in another festival.
