Music News have the pleasure of presenting this exclusive interview with Little Eye guitarist Euan Malloch, as an introduction to the band and an insight into their plans for 2015

What’s your name?

- Euan Malloch

What’s you role in the band?

- Guitarist

Where do you come from?

- Kirkintilloch, Glasgow

Describe your sound in on sentence...

- Powerful pop rock with infectious hooks!

What’s going on with you guys right now?

- We're currently writing more songs and gearing up with the team towards our second album.

We hear you toured with Blondie and opened the main stage at Isle of Wight this year, tell us about that…

- We've had an amazing 2014. John Giddings invited us to open the main stage at Isle of Wight Festival which was nothing short of incredible. We were dumbfounded that we were actually playing.
We met one of our childhood hero's backstage, Anthony Kiedis, from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. We all grew up listening to RHCP so to meet Anthony and have a chat was surreal.

We opened for Blondie in our home city, Glasgow, at the 02 ABC. Again, we really couldn't believe our luck as Blondie is such a legendary band with great hit songs.
Debbie and the guys invited us after the show for a few drinks in their dressing room. To hear some of their stories about life on the road and performing really inspired us to keep working hard as we'd love to have their level of success and have a career that spans a lifetime.

What can we expect in 2015?

- We're hoping to do a tour in 2015 and hope to be making a return to the UK's best music festival, Isle Of Wight.

Tell us something no one else knows:

- We've been filming and collaborating with Chinese rock star Xu Wei during his visit to Scotland earlier this year. We are now featured on his music documentary that is being aired on Chinese national TV, 11th December 2014.
We aim to be working closely with our Chinese friends and hope to head out to perform there in the near future.
