‘Perpetual Nights’ is the hypnotically seductive, upbeat release from Maxine Ashley, one of the most understated yet ear-pleasingly catchy cuts in her repertoire. The marriage of the alternative jazz and R&B sound is beautifully modernised with a contemporary edge; skittering synths flawlessly woven into the smooth drum beat produced by Grammy Award winner Pharrell Williams.

This entrancing upbeat number seamlessly showcases Maxine’s vocal abilities with an infectious, unique blend of alt-soul.The visuals for ‘Perpetual Nights’ reflects the artistic vibe of the track. It takes us through a 1920's art deco experience coupled with vintage Pulp Fiction feel.

The video features clips of Jean Seberg and Jean-Paul Belmondo from Godard’s 1960 classic Breathless projected across studio shots of singer Ashley, while producer Williams appears in his renowned Vivienne Westwood mounty hat.

The Bronx-born also recently released her fantastic new EP 'Moodswings' produced by Krucial Noise and Pharrell Williams. Williams and Ashley first met four years ago and, according to Ashley, instantly discovered a natural musical chemistry. She says, “The first song we did was already a banger!” Check it out below...
