Last year they took the top spot for Christmas in their home country of New Zealand with their debut album, where they outsold multi-Grammy-winning fellow Kiwi, Lorde. This year they are bringing to the UK the powerful voices, impeccable comic timing and genuine onstage brotherly connection that led them to a record deal and numerous TV performances, capturing the hearts of millions.

Their heart-warming version of ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ celebrates the importance of family, but it is not only at Christmas that Moses Mackay, Pene and Amitai Pati spread goodwill with music and comedy. On their last trip to the UK, in between major international concert dates and high-profile TV appearances, they took their unique performance into schools and nursing homes around the country, introducing opera to the young and old and breathing new life into time-honoured classics.

Sol3 Mio are very quickly establishing an international reputation. In New Zealand, their debut album reached 5 x Platinum sales in just 6 weeks, making it the biggest-selling album of last year. They are now making their musical mark on the UK, and have appeared in the Christmas singles list at the world's biggest bookmaker:

“This year will certainly be the hardest, competing with the might of Band Aid 30, but Sol3 Mios appearance on BBC Breakfast News has certainly brought them to the attention of the British public, and with such a well-loved song, we now have them placed alongside the likes of Tom Odell and Sam Smith, ahead of household names such as Cheryl, Ed Sheeran and Take That" said a William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

Sol3 Mio have now been booked for a 2015 Nationwide Headline Tour (dates below), but music lovers will not have to wait until then to experience their live performance. At the end of this month they will be performing in arenas across the UK, as they join Alfie Boe on his extensive tour, as well as giving a show-stopping performance on BBC1’s The Big Sing at The Royal Albert Hall. Their highly-anticipated self-titled debut album was released on Monday on Decca Records and shot straight up the Amazon charts.
