How important is music to you/why: It means everything to me. Basically it sums up my daily life, it gives me the energy that I need in everyday life and it is something which makes me happy in times of low, and at the same time it is something which gives me great satisfaction. Thus I am indeed thankful to God for blessing me with the art of music and singing.
Can you share with us something curious/funny which happened to you when performing:
It was in a particular Christmas panto performance and it also was the second show. I was walking up a platform which had a piece of wood in the centre of it. I tripped in this piece of wood as I was about to come down from the platform, therefore I ran really fast to the otherside of the stage, in order to help break my fall.
From the current Summer Malta Hit 2015 finalists, who would you choose to duet with/why: Definitely Simaria Galea, because in the past we have been told that we look like siblings since we almost have the same facial features and this belief also came up due to the fact that we also bare the same surname. Not to mention the fact that Simaria is a very talented artist and indeed fun to work with.
A typical weekday for you from morning to night: In winter my mornings would usually be made up of school lectures, and in Summer I would be working part – time at a particular office. Then the remaining hours of the day would set out to see me focus on my studies followed by music rehearsals and even jamming sessions, whenever the talented Kurt Aquilina is around at my place. Also during this hot season I love going to the beach whenever I manage to find some spare time.
How do you like to spend your weekends: I consider myself to be quite a party person hehe. But I also do love spending relaxed nights with my friends whilst chillaxing in a lovely ambiance setting over some wine, but I also love my club nights. The genre of dance music that I’m currently doing at the moment clearly describes this.
Do you think Malta should send a Summer Malta Hit 2015 winner to represent Malta at Eurovision one year and why/why not: Yes, of course. Why not? If the artist is talented and has what we know as the whole package with a very strong song, I think it could be a great idea. Although I must admit that I do love the idea of having the traditional song contest and national selection to select the Maltese entry and representative.
Your musical influences: Michael Jackson, Jessie J, Ellie Goulding, Disclosure, Arctic Monkeys. Your inspiration in life: My parents
