Hansard recently released his new album, a collection of songs about life getting closer to completion than commencement, aptly titled All That Was East Is West Of Me Now. A record that is noisy and meditative as well as sprawling and hypnotic, it is Hansard’s most rollicking record since Burn the Maps-era The Frames, and won four-star reviews from Mojo and Record Collector.
Tickets for the newly announced solo acoustic tour of the UK go on general sale from Friday 8th December at 10am below.

Hansard recently performed the album track 'There’s No Mountain' on Jimmy Kimmel Live!; centered around the inspirational sentiment “there's no mountain great or small that you can't climb," the song points forward to the virtue of simply pressing on, despite cataclysms global and personal that might challenge any stable orbit.
