Forest Live, Forestry England’s summer concert series presented by Forestry England and Cuffe & Taylor, has announced its return to four stunning woodland locations for 2025.

17-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist Sting and Irish pop-rockers The Script have been confirmed as the first headliners, with many more artists set to be revealed.

Merging stellar performances from world-class acts with beautiful outdoor locations to create an atmosphere like no other, Forest Live 2025 will take place at four forest venues: Forestry England Cannock Chase, Delamere Forest, High Lodge, Thetford and Westonbirt Arboretum.

With virtuoso guitarist and longtime collaborator, Dominic Miller, and dynamic drummer Chris Maas (Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers), the band will perform the most electrifying hits and rarities from Sting’s timeless discography at Forestry England Westonbirt Arboretum on 18 June 2025 and Cannock Chase on 27 June 2025.

The shows follow the launch of the “STING 3.0” World Tour in Europe and North America this summer.

Known for his groundbreaking work as a solo artist and as the front man and songwriter in seminal group The Police, Sting has consistently pushed the boundaries of musical innovation throughout his illustrious career.

The “STING 3.0” Tour represents a new dynamic era showcasing selections from his vast catalogue through the urgent lens of a tight three-piece combo and inspired by the release of his new song “"I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)"” - mixed by 4-time GRAMMY Award-winning mix engineer Robert Orton – released 5 September on Cherrytree Music Company/Interscope Records.

Globally renowned Irish pop-rockers The Script are set to light up Forestry England High Lodge, Thetford on 20 June 2025 and Westonbirt Arboretum on 22 June 2025, with support from Scottish singer-songwriter Tom Walker.

The Script have amassed over 10 billion streams worldwide and with two platinum-selling US singles, six UK Number One albums and global ticket sales north of four million under their belts, The Script’s gift for writing songs rich with heady emotions and big melodies has captured the hearts of fans all over the world.

Following the sad loss of founding member Mark Sheehan in 2023, the band vowed the best way to honour him would be to carry on connecting with the tight-knit community they had built together. With their Forest Live shows coming hot on the heels of a huge worldwide tour, The Script are set to thrill fans with selections from their catalogue of much-loved tracks including “Hall Of Fame”, “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” and “Breakeven”.

Forestry England manage and care for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests. They use the money Forest Live raises to maintain these beautiful natural areas for everyone to enjoy, run important conservation projects and keep growing trees.

Last year they planted some 7.4 million trees and welcomed 285 million visits in 2023/24. Everyone in England lives within a one-hour drive of one of the nation’s forests. Over two million people have enjoyed the Forest Live gigs over the last 23 years.

This year sees Forestry England present the concert series in partnership with Live Nation’s Cuffe & Taylor for the second year running.
