The pioneering songwriter, composer, producer, arranger, and guitarist Nile Rodgers is the latest artist confirmed to headline the Nocturne Live concert series, which returns to the UNESCO world heritage site of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire from June 18th – 22nd 2025.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner is regarded as one of music’s great live performers and will present an electrifying journey through his iconic back catalogue featuring some of the biggest hits of modern times. Rodgers will take centre stage with his band CHIC on Sunday June 22nd with support from multi-million-selling R&B powerhouse En Vogue and soul icons Shalamar.
During the course of an illustrious career, Rodgers has left an indelible mark on music history. As the co-founder of CHIC, he pioneered a musical language that has generated timeless anthems including Le Freak, Good Times, and Everybody Dance, among other massive hit songs. As a songwriter and producer, he has sold over 500 million albums and 100 million singles with an array of incredible hit songs including We Are Family (Sister Sledge), I’m Coming Out (Diana Ross), Let’s Dance (David Bowie) and Like A Virgin (Madonna). His innovative, trendsetting collaborations with Daft Punk (Get Lucky), Daddy Yankee (Agua), and Beyoncé (Cuff It, Levii’s Jeans) reflect the vanguard of contemporary hits.
Supporting Nile Rodgers & CHIC are En Vogue, the multi-million album-selling R&B powerhouse behind chart-topping hits such as Hold On, My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It), and Free Your Mind, and soul icons Shalamar, whose disco-driven classics like A Night to Remember and I Can Make You Feel Good have become enduring fan favourites.
Also announced to date for the 2025 Nocturne Live series are Gary Barlow, who headlines on Friday June 20th, and Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft, Lightning Seeds, and The Zutons, who perform on Thursday June 19th. More acts will be announced in due course.
