The first wave of acts for Rockaway Beach 2026 has just been unveiled, featuring the legendary Public Image Ltd, post-punk innovators Dry Cleaning, and the genre-blending chaos of The Moonlandingz. Joining them are rising stars and seasoned performers alike, including Baggio, Bruise Control, Ellur, The Members, Spielmann, TV Smith, We Hate You Please Die, Y, and BBC 6Music’s Chris Hawkins. With two headliners and many more artists yet to be announced, the excitement is only just beginning.

Public Image Ltd have been a defining force in alternative music, continuously challenging conventions with their boundary-pushing sound and uncompromising vision. Having them at Rockaway Beach is a long-awaited triumph—an act synonymous with defiance, raw energy, and relentless reinvention. Their set is sure to be a landmark moment for the festival.

Dry Cleaning make their Rockaway Beach debut, bringing their distinctively sharp lyricism and hypnotic post-punk sound to the stage. With their albums New Long Leg and Stumpwork, they’ve carved out a unique niche in the UK alternative scene. Florence Shaw’s deadpan vocals over the band’s taut, angular instrumentation promise an unmissable live experience.

Returning after a long hiatus, The Moonlandingz bring their surreal, glam-punk energy back to the spotlight. With new singles like “Roustabout” and “The Sign of a Man,” their theatrical, boundary-pushing performance will be one of the festival’s wildest highlights.

The lineup also features indie-pop powerhouse Ellur, punk stalwarts The Members, and the ever-rebellious TV Smith. France’s ferocious garage-punk outfit We Hate You Please Die are set to deliver an explosive performance, while newcomers Y make their festival debut, already generating buzz.

This is just the beginning—stay tuned for more names and headliners to be revealed soon!
