Irish rockers Hothouse Flowers have announced their return to the UK for the second leg of their 2025 tour celebrating their albums People and Home. After a successful run of shows throughout the UK in June, Hothouse Flowers will return to the UK in December to perform in Liverpool’s iconic O2 Academy 1.
With an iconic discography, Hothouse Flowers will perform their standout songs such as ‘Don’t Go’ from debut album People (1988); and ‘I Can See Clearly Now’ from Home (1990). At the time of People in the late 80s, Hothouse Flowers were garnering attention across the live music playing in the late-night clubs and bars of Dublin City Centre. Their excelling musicianship, blend of genres and live reputation meant that their debut album was an instant hit and flew to top spot in the Irish charts and no.2 in the UK charts.
Reaching similar acclaim, Home followed the success of their debut. Written and recorded around the world including Dublin, London and New Orleans, Home is a collection of inspired tracks by seasoned professionals.
Their innate ability for improvisation during their shows set the Flowers apart from almost any other band of their time and trade. Their shows provide a sense of musical adventure in which the unspoken aim is that the band and the audience become one and the world becomes a different place for a while.
The band now continue their celebration tour across the UK in December 2025 including Liverpool’s O2 Academy 1.
