Following four sensational sold-out nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall, dance music icon Pete Tong is bringing his critically acclaimed Ibiza Classics back to arenas across the UK this December. The highly anticipated tour marks a decade of astounding audiences with its groundbreaking fusion of orchestral music and electronic beats, featuring long-time collaborators Jules Buckley and The Essential Orchestra.
"Pete Tong's Ibiza Classics brought the spirit of Cafe Del Mar to the Royal Albert Hall in all its technicolour, euphoric glory," lauded The Telegraph's Nick McGrath, a sentiment echoed by The Sunday Times Magazine, which declared the show an "orchestral masterpiece that blew the roof off!"
The tour kicks off on December 4 at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro, before making stops in Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds, and Birmingham. It culminates with two massive shows at The O2, London, on December 12 and 13.
Ibiza Classics debuted in 2015 as part of BBC Radio 1’s Proms, paying musical homage to the White Isle's infectious club culture. Over the past ten years, it has evolved into the world's most iconic orchestral electronic music event, consistently captivating audiences with its jaw-dropping audiovisuals and stunning reimaginings of timeless classic house tracks.
These new live arena dates promise to be the party of the year, featuring a host of special guest DJs and singers. The unique orchestration combined with unparalleled electronic production aims to transport ravers back to the heart of Ibiza's musical history.
To further celebrate this significant milestone, a special limited-edition album, Pete Tong and Jules Buckley – Ibiza Classics 10th Anniversary Collection, was released last month. Available on 2LP vinyl or 2CD, the album features a tracklist curated by Pete Tong himself from the last decade of exhilarating performances.
