Katy Perry has teased she will share footage of herself "voting naked" to "help change the world".
The Firework singer, a vocal supporter for U.S. Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, shared on social media what appears to be a still from a video ahead of the first televised debate between Clinton and Republican Donald Trump on Monday night (26Sep16).
In the teaser picture, Katy appears to standing naked in a polling station, with her private areas blurred out. In the comical shot, her hair has been backcombed to give it a messy appearance and she has a lollipop and popcorn stuck to her black tresses.
Besides the naked body, the picture reads, "Katy Perry Votes Naked... Tomorrow" and in the caption, she wrote, "TOMORROW, I USE MY BODY AS CLICK BAIT TO HELP CHANGE THE WORLD," followed by a fist bump emoji, seemingly hinting she has taken part in a skit to promote Clinton.
She wouldn't be alone - the cast of Will & Grace reunited onscreen for the first time in a decade for a video in which Will and Grace (Eric McCormack and Debra Messing) attempt to convince their pals Karen and Jack (Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes) not to vote for Trump.
The Avengers director Joss Whedon also recruited A-list stars including Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., and Scarlett Johansson to help urge Americans to vote in November's (16) presidential elections.
During the video, they promised Mark would strip in his next film role if people went out and voted, saying, "And if you do vote," the stars add, "Mark Ruffalo will do a nude scene in his next movie."
Katy has supported Clinton on a number of occasions, including the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in July (16) when she performed Roar and Rise and gave a speech.
"I am asking you to have an open mind and to use your voice, because on November 8, it will be just as powerful as any NRA lobbyist," she told the crowd. "You will have as much say as any billionaire. Because it's not where you come from but what you grow into."
