In total The Dooleys enjoyed a staggering 83 weeks in the UK Singles Chart. The group were the first western pop act to be allowed to perform behind Russia's Iron Curtain.
They had an incredible ten UK chart entries between in just four years up to 1981.
The first new release will be from the Dooley brothers with the album 'The Dooley Brothers Return' out on Febuary 12th.
The Guinness Book of Records pays homage to them as the largest UK family act to ever enjoy UK chart success.
