Introspective art-pop artist KENICHI & THE SUN - aka Katrin Hahner - returns with another enchanting new single to add to her already extremely impressive repertoire. ‘If Loved’ celebrates life, unconditional love and the freedom to be who we are.
The track lures us into a psychedelic daydream, combining mesmerising strings with swirling synths in order to create Katrin’s trademark ‘sci-fi gospel’ sound. Talking about the single, Katrin explains, "‘If Loved' is a call to empowerment, to lift each other up and focus on the commonalities rather than the differences. Everyone knows that we need this one person that believes in us. Be that person for someone! Be it for many! Ancient and revolutionary, something primal yet also kaleidoscopic. A message of love for, and maybe from the future."
