Lance Bass has come under fire for reenacting part of Amber Heard's testimony in a viral TikTok video.

The Aquaman actress has been on the witness stand this week amid the defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp. He sued her over a 2018 op-ed in which she described herself as a public figure representing domestic abuse and she is countersuing him.

On Monday, to celebrate the trial resuming after a week-long break, the NSYNC singer made a TikTok in which he acts out an alleged instance of abuse Amber described during her testimony.

"I lose my balance, at this point, we're sitting next to each other on the edge of the couch, or I was on the edge of the couch," Amber can be heard saying in the voiceover. "I was just sitting there on this carpet, looking at the dirty carpet, wondering how I wound up on this carpet and why I never noticed that the carpet was so filthy before. I just didn't know what else to do, I didn't know what to say, I didn't know how to react."

While the voiceover plays, Lance can be seen tripping, sitting on a sofa, and laying on a rug as someone off-camera throws leaves over him.

The 43-year-old captioned the clip: "In honour of the trial starting back up... Had. To. Do. It."

The singer received some praise in the comments on TikTok but caused an uproar on Twitter, with one user calling the clip "disgusting and disturbing".

"F**k Lance Bass and f**k anyone who thinks lip-syncing to a victim's description of abuse is remotely funny," one wrote, while another commented, "If there’s anything Lance Bass loves doing, it’s hopping on the coattails of a scandal for views and clocks. Even if it’s as low as making fun of domestic abuse victims. Gross."

The defamation trial continues.
