Jessie J has fired back at internet trolls for commenting on her appearance.
The 35-year-old English hitmaker has hit back at social media users who have told her that she "looks older".
"It always makes me laugh when I see a 'She looks older', 'Man she got old', comment on my posts," Jessie wrote on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
The Price Tag singer continued, "Yeah no s**t, because I am. I hate that there is this weird belief to SOME people that being in the public eye or a performer means you don't age. S**t, if that was part of the deal I wouldn't have left my record label. Joke."
In the post, Jessie noted that she hasn't had any cosmetic procedures, including Botox, to make her look younger.
"I enjoy looking like I've lived a life and if one day I change that I would be honest about it. But for now... I personally don't have Botox or filler or edit my pics," the Do It Like A Dude artist wrote.
Jessie concluded the post, "And no shade to those who do. Personal choice always. But I'm 36 next month and I like that my face has a story to tell."
In September last year, the singer announced that she had parted ways with her record label, Republic Records, after 17 years. She is currently not signed to any major label.
